Spectral Smog, 2022
Spectral Smog explores the relationship between silver-rich glass and charred salt, producing visual effects born of heat and elemental forces. The work invites close looking at the phenomenological beauty of toxic colors, reflecting on climate anxiety and grief. Here we sit with the paradox of beauty and poison as a koan; visible in smog, oil spills, and iridescent dangers.
