Dissolve Coagulate

Turner Gallery, Alfred University, 2022

A solo exhibition exploring the phenomenology of healing states between human and earth bodies. Macro photographs of stream froth, fungi, oil spills, and caverns are augmented with infusions, cauterized holes, and drips. The photographic sculptures each measure approx. 60"x40” and are made using archival inkjet prints on canvas, quilt batting, cotton duck, neon, stained glass. The sculptures on the floor are made from carved salt, blown glass, and neon, presented on piles of New York state-mined rock salt.
