For the Brucennial 2010: Miseducation
An exploration of the teenage girl and her role in horror/slasher films, and the demons of my own tumultuous teenage years. Fueled by my interest in alchemical imagery, and by the availability of an abandoned high school, this video/performance piece emerged. As I explore time-based work that is experiential and interactive, the viscerality of material becomes a symbol of creation and destruction of form.
